AS 24 operates a network of 900 own and more than 15,000 partner filling stations in almost every country in Europe. The very high coverage, designed to meet the needs of carriers and heavy trucks, is popular. In Hungary, they can be found in eight locations, mainly near motorways and major roads.
“AS 24 and Vannet have been working together for more than 7 years. In 2015 Vannet was the service provider for only a part of the AS 24’s Hungarian network, but from 2021 they provide internet services at all the filling stations, which is proof of the success of the cooperation” – said László Kelemen, Technical & HSEQ Manager of AS 24. “No wired coverage is available at these sites, so we can use only wireless technologies. We also requested a backup service in 2022 at critical locations, because automatic filling stations require a redundant connection to ensure availability and data security. Most of our facilities use satellite internet, but in some places Vannet has also provided microwave network service, ensuring that our delayless transmission requirements are met. They are a reliable communication partner who can serve our individual needs too.”
